The map pack is decided before anyone reads your website
For a search like a service plus a district, Google shows three businesses with ratings, distance and opening hours above the normal results. Most of that block is decided by the Business Profile: category, proximity, reviews and completeness. A site with forty pages but a thin profile loses to a competitor with ten pages and a well-kept one.
That is why profile work comes first. It is also the fastest visible change most Singapore businesses can make, often within weeks rather than months.
District pages that are worth having
A page for every district with the same paragraph and a swapped place name is a doorway pattern, and Google treats it as one. A useful district page names real roads or landmarks, says which trades you actually serve there, and answers a question a customer in that area would ask.
For a Singapore business that usually means five to eight pages, not fifty: the districts where the work actually comes from, plus the service pages those districts link to.
Reviews, honestly
Reviews move the map pack more than any technical fix. The routine that works is unglamorous: ask every satisfied customer at the moment the job finishes, send one direct link to the review form, and reply to every review within a day. No discounts for reviews, no templates that read like they were written by the business.
We set that routine up, write the request message with you, and track how many reviews arrive each month.
What it costs and what to expect
Local SEO sits inside the same package: S$250 setup, S$499 monthly starting after your first qualified enquiry, with advertising spend separate. Profile and review work usually shows movement in four to ten weeks; district pages take longer because they have to earn their own relevance.
What we will not do is promise a map-pack position. Proximity is decided by Google and by where the searcher is standing, so the honest target is appearing for the areas you serve, and measuring the calls and enquiries that follow.
At a glance
| Work | First visible effect | What decides the result |
|---|---|---|
| Profile completeness and categories | 2 to 6 weeks | Accuracy, attributes, photos, hours |
| Review routine | 4 to 8 weeks | Volume, recency, replies |
| District pages | 8 to 16 weeks | Relevance, internal links, genuine local detail |
Questions Singapore buyers ask
Do I need a Google Business Profile to rank locally in Singapore?
Yes, if the search carries a place. The map pack sits above the normal results for district searches, and it is driven by the profile. Without one you are competing only in the organic list underneath it.
Can you rank a business with no reviews yet?
We can start the routine that gets them, and we will not fabricate any. Reviews are the slowest part of local SEO and the part that matters most, so it starts in week one rather than after the website work.
How many district pages do we need?
Usually five to eight, chosen by where your enquiries actually come from. Fifty thin pages dilute the site and read as spam; a handful of specific ones, each linked to the right service page, is the better structure.
How is this priced?
S$250 setup and S$499 monthly after your first qualified enquiry, priced in SGD. Profile and review work is included; paid ads, if you run them, are separate and paid to the platform.
If you want to know whether the map pack is winnable in your district, ask for the local audit first. We will show you the competitors holding the three slots and what it would take to replace one.
