What counts as a qualified enquiry?
Most lead generation fails on this point before a single ringgit or dollar is spent. "More leads" is not a brief. A qualified enquiry has a location, a service the business actually delivers, a budget or timeline that fits, and a decision-maker on the other end.
We write those conditions down with you before launch: the services in scope, the areas served, the minimum job size, and the enquiries you would happily drive across town for. That document does two jobs. It tells the campaigns what to aim at, and it gives the monthly fee a fair trigger, since the fee begins after the first enquiry that meets the agreed criteria.
Where SME enquiries actually come from in Singapore and Malaysia
In Singapore, a large share of high-intent searches happen on a phone, close to the moment of need: a repair, a clinic appointment, a quotation for renovation or accounting. The searcher is comparing two or three firms in the same few minutes, and the business that answers first usually wins the conversation.
In Malaysia the pattern is wider. Klang Valley buyers search in English and Malay, often switching between the two in one session, and outlying states lean harder on Facebook and WhatsApp than on search. A campaign that only speaks English, or only runs on Google, leaves a large part of the market untouched. That is why the same system here carries both languages and both paid channels.
The handoff decides the outcome
An enquiry is perishable. If a form lands in an inbox nobody watches, the money spent to produce it is gone. The practical fix is unglamorous: an alert to a phone, a named person responsible, and a first reply inside business hours on the same day.
We agree that handoff before launch, including what happens at weekends and public holidays. It is the cheapest improvement in the whole system and the one most often skipped.
How we judge whether it is working
Two numbers matter more than the rest: enquiries that met the agreed criteria, and the share of those that turned into a quote or a booking. Clicks, impressions and cost per click explain why those two moved, but they are not the score.
Every month you get the source of each enquiry, the page it came from, what was asked, and what happened next. If a channel is producing volume that never qualifies, we say so and change it rather than dressing it up in a report.
At a glance
| Channel | Best at | The catch |
|---|---|---|
| Google Search ads | Catching someone searching for your service right now | Cost per click rises where competitors bid hard |
| Facebook and Instagram ads | Reaching buyers who did not know to search yet | Needs a strong offer or the clicks stay cheap and useless |
| Organic search and content | Compounding visibility for questions asked every month | Slow at the start, months before it carries weight |
| Google Business Profile | Local searches with "near me" intent and map views | Only works when the profile is complete and reviewed |
Questions buyers ask
How long before enquiries start arriving?
Paid search can produce enquiries within days of launch, once tracking and the landing page are ready. Organic search usually needs a few months of consistent publishing before it contributes meaningfully. We report on both separately so early paid results do not hide slow organic progress.
Can you guarantee a number of leads?
No, and any provider who does is guessing. Demand, seasonality, pricing and how fast you answer all sit outside our control. What we can commit to is the process, the tracking, and a monthly account of what happened.
Do you work with both Singapore and Malaysia?
Yes, and the two are treated as separate markets with separate pricing, currencies, keywords and ad accounts. Malaysian buyers often search in Malay, so campaigns and pages exist in both languages.
What do you need from us to start?
Access to your website or permission to build a landing page, a Google Ads or Meta account in your name, and about two hours of your time to agree the qualification criteria, the services in scope and the areas you serve.
If you can describe the enquiry you want, we can build the system that produces it, and report honestly on what it costs.
