Message match: the ad promised something
When an ad says "emergency aircon repair in Jurong", the page headline should say the same thing. If it instead says "Welcome to our family of services", the visitor has to work out whether they are in the right place. Most do not bother.
Message match is also what keeps cost per click down. A page that clearly continues the ad's promise is judged more relevant, and relevance affects what you pay for the next click.
What belongs above the fold
Four things, in this order: the service named plainly, the area served, one proof element you can honestly claim, and the next step. On a phone that is roughly the first screen and a half, so nothing decorative earns its space there.
Proof does not have to be a testimonial. Years operating, certifications, a real address, a response-time promise you keep, or a plain explanation of how pricing works all do the job better than a stock photo of a handshake.
Forms: short wins, but only if you act on it
Every field you add costs enquiries. Ask for name, a way to reply, and what they need. Add the rest after the first contact, when the person has already decided to talk to you.
The counter-rule: do not shorten the form if you will not follow up. A three-field form that nobody answers within a day is worse than a longer form that reaches someone who calls back.
Speed and mobile reality in both markets
Most of your visitors arrive on a mid-range Android phone on mobile data, not on a desktop on fibre. Large hero videos, uncompressed images and third-party scripts are the usual culprits, and they cost more in Malaysia where connections vary outside the cities.
We test on a throttled connection as well as a fast one. A page that takes six seconds to become usable has already lost the visitor who was comparing three firms in the same minute.
At a glance
| Element | Keep it | Why it matters |
|---|---|---|
| Headline | Service plus place, plainly stated | Confirms the visitor is in the right place |
| Proof | Something verifiable you already have | Replaces the trust a shopfront gives |
| Form | Three fields, then a conversation | Each extra field costs enquiries |
| Load time | Under three seconds on mobile data | Slower pages lose the comparison |
Questions buyers ask
Do we need a new website or just landing pages?
If the existing site loads quickly and can host new pages, landing pages are usually enough and far cheaper. A rebuild is justified when the platform is slow, hard to edit, or cannot produce a clean page per service.
Who writes the content?
We draft it from your answers and your existing material, then you correct the details. The business knows the operational specifics, and those specifics are what make the page credible.
Can you use our existing brand?
Yes. We work with your logo, colours and tone, and adjust layout for clarity rather than replacing your identity. If there is no brand yet, we build a restrained one that will not need replacing in a year.
How is a landing page different from a homepage?
A homepage serves everyone who arrives for any reason. A landing page serves one audience, one offer and one action, which is why it converts better for paid traffic and why sending ads to a homepage wastes budget.
A page either answers the question the visitor typed or it does not. We build the version that does.
